
Dr. Richard J. Moses, DMD, pediatric dentist, is the special type of person who chooses to make children his life’s work. His light-hearted interaction with kids and his expertise in children’s dentistry make visiting the dentist a fun, educational experience for children. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Moses has two extra years of training that qualify him to practice pediatric dentistry. This specialized educational program equipped him with tools to handle the requirements of infants, children and adolescents, including those with special health care needs. Dr. Moses developed a particular passion for working with special needs children, while working in a special needs clinic during dental school.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Moses received his undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated on the Dean’s List with honors and received the Pediatric Dentistry Award of Distinction, among many other awards.
